Foreign Missions

Some countries have their official representation in our region, but there are also other institutions here that, through their activities, help to acquaint people with the culture, language and customs of their country and encourage international business cooperation.

These include:

• Consulate General of Poland in Ostrava
• The Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Turkey in Frydek-Mistek
• The French Alliance in Ostrava (website in Czech and French)
• The Czech-Polish Chamber of Commerce (website in Czeh and Polish)

The Moravian-Silesian Region collaborates with other international institutions, which are mainly located in Prague. These are primarily:

• The French Institute in Prague (website in czech and French)
• The Czech-Korean society
• The Czech-Chinese Association for Cultural Exchange
